Who is Sarah Zink?
I have no-nonsense approach that is based on the premise of: “You can do it right, or you can make excuses, but you can’t do both.” I've been told I have an entertaining and engaging speaking and coaching style that immediately captures attention, provokes thought, and provides practical action items to implement.
My core areas of training and coaching expertise include time and focus management, delegation, and powerful and effective communication techniques, which naturally extend to areas such as the dynamics of change management, powerful sales strategies, agility, negotiation, transformation, and effective leadership behaviors. Topics range from the impact of emotional intelligence in the workplace, to discovering the differences of excellence vs. perfection.
By taking the lessons I’ve learned and combining that knowledge with observations of how successful people work, coupled with a tremendous amount of research, I’m able to provide a down-to-earth, practical presentation or coaching session that not only makes sense, but makes sense to the listener.
I am an active and seasoned speaker, coach, consultant and trainer, delivering thousands of hours of keynotes, workshops, coaching and training since 2004. At the same time, I have continued working on projects and assignments in the corporate world to keep my skills and perspectives fresh.
I've been lucky enough to have worked with global clients in a wide variety of industries and departments, ranging from marketing and advertising to food and retail, to oil and gas, technology and engineering. Some prior clients include Alliance Data, Amway, Nexen Petroleum (Energy), Pearson Publishing, Trelleborg Group, L3, JC Penney, Outback Steakhouse, TGI Fridays and Texas Instruments, as well as Texas-based companies such as Texas Health Resources, the Texas Higher Education Human Resource Association, Resource One Credit Union and the law firm of Jackson Lewis. I also has extensive experience working with municipalities, including the Cities of Fort Worth, Arlington and Mansfield. I am an acclaimed author and video blogger. I am grateful to have been recognized in 2015 as a ‘Great Woman of Texas’ by the Fort Worth Business Press.
In reality, the true power behind my work is that every presentation or coaching session is customized to the client’s unique needs at no additional cost. I focus on individual responsibility, habits and behavior. Because I address these specific situations faced in each workplace, it means that participants and coaches receive training, consulting and coaching sessions that are specific and meaningful and thus, more likely to produce measurable results.
